English Dramatics Society
‘All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.’ These famous words, written by William Shakespeare, best mirror the spirit and modus operandi of the English Dramatics Society. The students of the society from classes IX to XII collect once every week to enjoy a unique learning opportunity of exploring and expressing a multitude of emotions which throng the robust minds of its members. The students involve themselves in a variety of activities like role play, voice modulation, script writing, stage set up, etc. and dabble in multiple techniques pertaining to stagecraft. The budding performers lap up the opportunity to participate in a large number of Inter and Intra school events besides learning important life skills like effective communication, team work, power of expression and empathy.
